GRAPEVINE – The $120 million expansion plan of the Gaylord Texan will include a nine-story hotel and ballroom building and add 344,000 sf.

The Gaylord project represents a scaled-back version of a 2007 plan that would have made the Texan the largest hotel in the state.
The expansion will add 90,500 sf of conference space and will add 303 guest rooms to the existing 1,511.
Construction is expected to begin late this year and end in early 2019.
