Live like a beach bum in luxury near Galveston

​​​BOLIVAR PENINSULA – NewCoast Properties is set to open Seagrass Beach, a new luxury beachfront community southeast of Houston.

The Houston developer will hold a grand opening May 28 for Seagrass Beach, a once-stalled project that is undergoing a revival.

The 35-home community is on 33.5 acres off SH 87 on Bolivar Peninsula, about 11 miles west of SH 124.

So far, nine home lots—or about a quarter—of the 35 home lots in the community have been reserved. 

Home lots start at $225,000; the luxury vacation homes will start in the mid-$500,000.

The developer is now putting the finishing touches on the community’s luxury amenities, which include an 18-foot-tall elevated infinity-edge pool with six cabanas overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, a beachside fire pit, two large manicured lawn areas and two 15-foot-deep stocked fishing ponds.
