According to a RealtyTrac report that looked at 27 zip codes throughout the San Antonio-New Braunfels area, homes near a Target posted stronger value appreciation and sales prices than homes next to a Walmart. When it came time to sell, homeowners next to one of the local Targets saw a 22 percent appreciation. This posted an average increase of more than $45,450 in price of the home compared to when first purchased. Walmart-area residents, on the other hand, saw an 18 percent appreciation and average increase of $27,624. | San Antonio Business Journal
