HOUSTON – Woodbranch Investments Corp. has begun preleasing units inside Market Square Tower, the tallest luxury apartment project in downtown Houston.

The Houston-based developer is under construction on the 40-story, 463-unit apartment tower.

The building is located across from Market Square Park at 777 Preston St. on a city block bounded by Congress Ave. and Milam, Preston, Louisiana St.

Market Square Tower will feature eye-popping amenities, including a wraparound rooftop terrace with views of the downtown Houston skyline and Buffalo Bayou Park.

The centerpiece of the rooftop terrace will be a glass-bottom infinity pool that will cantilever over the edge of the tower, giving residents the sensation of swimming in the sky 500 feet above street level.

Market Square Tower also will feature an expansive sundeck, sky lounge and sky gym on the rooftop terrace.

Market Square Tower’s 463 units will range in size from a 564-sf efficiency to a three-bedroom, three-bathroom unit spanning 1,950 sf with an oversized balcony.

There will be several penthouse units, starting at 2,933 sf.

Market Square Tower is slated to open in October 2016, ahead of its originally planned 2017 opening.
