CALALLEN - The neighborhood Walmart that's served the Calallen area for 22 years is in line for a major face-lift later in 2016.
The $765,000 project isn't expected to cause any breaks in operation, store manager John Ganley said.
The store will also be getting new fixtures to display products throughout. The entire floor will be outfitted with new tile.
The exterior is getting a new coat of paint, and the entryway is being redesigned to provide an open feel.
The project is expected to start in June and conclude in early September.
