Under construction! El Paso PinPoints to senior living

​​​​EL PASO – An upscale, 86-unit senior housing facility located in a fast-growing area of West El Paso is being built by PinPoint Senior Living, a Houston company.

The Legacy at Cimarron is expected to be completed by early next year.

It’s one of the many new senior housing projects the company has under construction in Texas. The others are in Lubbock and the Houston area.

The El Paso facility, which went under construction in February 2016, is located at Paseo Del Norte and Northern Pass near the Cimarron housing community started several years ago by El Paso’s Hunt Companies.

The El Paso site is in a high-growth area near the 140-bed hospital being built by The Hospitals of Providence at Transmountain and Resler.

Housing facility is designed around a central area, which PinPoint calls Main Street, with a restaurant, movie theater, general store, fitness center, and sports bar.

The El Paso facility will include 22 apartments with a more secure environment for people with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.

The El Paso facility will employ about 50 people.​
