Siemens facility expanding by 25 percent

​​GRAND PRAIRIE – ​Siemens Energy Management will expand its 197,000-sf electrical circuit manufacturing facility at 501 Fountain Pkwy. by over 25 percent, or 50,000 sf.

The multimillion-dollar expansion will include about 42,000 sf of manufacturing and warehouse space and 8,000 sf of office space.

The company will be able to up the number of production lines used for manufacturing circuit breakers within the facility and improve testing capabilities. The site will employ around 500 workers.

Construction on the expansion is slated to begin this Thursday.​
