​​​​​​​AUSTIN - "The outlook for construction over the next year or so in Austin remains strong, and the biggest impediment is simply the lack of manpower," said Phil Thoden, AGC Austin Chapter president.​​

"I do see renewed interest in vocational and technical training in local schools and community colleges to meet the demand for a skilled workforce,” Thoden said.
