​​FORT WORTH –​​​​ The city council has approved a $20 million economic incentive for The Outlets at Alliance, a 330,000-sf shopping mall planned for the east side of I-35.

The incentive is a grant of 85 percent of the city’s one-cent sales tax if the project reaches $100 million in investment.

Locally based The Woodmont Company and AIL Inves​tment LP are developing the retail center.
