SAN ANTONIO - SurePoint Self Storage has opened its newest location at 19322 Bulverde Rd. in Northeast San Antonio.

The 115,000-sf, four-story facility is in a growing residential area north of Loop 1604.

SurePoint’s newest location looks more like a modern office building than a self-storage facility and is a far cry from the expansive, drive-up storage facilities mostly relegated to the outskirts of town.

The property is the company’s third completed location within the last 14 months.

Self-storage properties are in high demand right now, especially in Texas. The average person living in the United States has seven square feet of stuff, but in Texas, that figure swells to 15 square feet.

Marcus & Millichap has found that occupancy levels for self-storage facilities in most metros—including San Antonio—are above 94 percent.
