DALLAS – The newly renovated downtown Dallas skyscraper, One Main Place, has scored a major office lease by Dallas County Community College District.

The college has leased 55,000 sf in the 33-story tower at 1201 Main St. for an expansion of its nearby El Centro College.
One Main Place is undergoing a makeover by New Orleans-based KFK Group, which bought the high-rise in 2014.
A 323-room Westin Hotel has opened in the upper floors of the skyscraper and the 18 lower floors are being remodeled as first-class office space.
The El Centro lease—for more than 7.5 years with an average annual rent of $17.81 per sf—is the largest office deal to land in the tower since the redevelopment began.
