Dirt set to fly at Chisholm Trail Ranch

​FORT WORTH – Chisholm Trail Ranch, a 261-acre residential community also to include commercial retail properties, is the first new development to begin construction along the $1.4 billion Chisholm Trail Parkway, which opened in May 2014.

The Walton Group community will feature approximately 1,100 single-family residential homes, with Phase I to include 169 home sites.

The project is located at the intersection of the new Chisholm Trail Parkway and McPherson Blvd., less than a 12-minute drive to downtown Fort Worth. 

Adjacent to the new 75-acre Chisholm Trail Park, anchored by the newly opened Chisholm Trail Community Center, it is located along McPherson Blvd.

The community will be part of an expansive hike-and-bike trail system linking existing parks and school sites throughout the area. 

A new elementary school will be part of the first phase of the community, within the Crowley independent school district.

Residents will have access to the Chisholm Trail Ranch Recreational Center to be completed within Phase I of the community, featuring a 7,500-sf clubhouse with a junior Olympic-sized swimming pool and kiddie pool/splash-pad.
