Walton Group saddling up for Chisholm Trail

​FORT WORTH – ​​The Walton Group is poised to start work on Chisholm Trail Ranch, a 261-acre residential, commercial, and retail development within the $1.4 billion Chisholm Trail Parkway development.

The community, located at the intersection of Chisholm Trail Pkwy. and McPherson Blvd., will be adjacent to the 75-acre Chisholm Trail Park anchored by the newly opened Chisholm Trail Community Center. It will be part of an extensive hike-and-bike trail system linking existing park and school sites throughout the area.

Phase I will include 169 home sites as well as the Chisholm Trail Ranch Recreational Center, which will have a 7,500-sf clubhouse with a junior​ Olympic-sized swimming pool. A new elementary school will also be built. It will be part of the Crowley ISD.

Antares Homes, Dunhill Homes, HistoryMaker Homes, and Sandlin Homes will work on the residential part of the development. The commercial and retail portion will be executed by Stratford Land and Legacy Capital.
