AUSTIN – Locally based developer Johnson Trube & Associates is building the Skyloft, a Class A, luxury student-housing development one block from the University of Texas' main campus.

Located at 507 W. 23 St., the project will stand 22 stories with four below-grade parking levels and 18 residential floors. It will include 212 units with a mix of one to four bedrooms totaling 677 beds.

Skyloft will have high-end finishes and top-of-the-line amenities such as a rooftop pool and fitness center, 24-hour study lounges, and media room.

The city council recently green-lighted the move of the historic Dabney-Horne home that is currently on the site, allowing Johnson Trube development to move forward with this project.
