FRISCO - Giddy up, Frisco: it will be an exciting ride down this stretch of the road.
The $5 Billion Mile (#5BMile) is one of the next big developments to watch in North Texas and has already outgrown its coined name as the current property valuations are nearing $6 billion.
This stretch of 5,280 linear feet features projects situated along the highly sought-after Dallas North Tollway, a major commuting artery within Far North Dallas, which has chalked up over 6 million sf of net absorption by area office occupiers in just over the past five years.
The $5 Billion Mile will serve both residents and corporate users, as well as the surrounding communities within the metroplex.
The stretch of current and planned development along this mile ride consists of four major mixed-use developments: Frisco Station, Wade Park, The Star in Frisco and The Gate.
The flurry of development activity is one of the most dynamic in the U.S. and with Frisco's additional population gains of 10–15 percent projected by 2021, builders will no doubt be busy adding value to the $5 billion mile.
