Carenet Healthcare delivers 115 jobs to Brooks City Base

​​SAN ANTONIO – Carenet Healthcare Services plans to expand
its Brooks City Base facilities to accommodate approximately 115 additional
personnel.

Carenet CEO John Erwin said the expansion will give the company
7,000 more sf of space where it can accommodate about 275 workers needed to
keep up with growing demand for its services.

“This year, we are on track to support over 5.5 million consumers
in making better health care decisions,” Erwin said.

Carenet’s headquarters facility is in Northwest San Antonio.
But the company established a presence at Brooks so it could better connect
with active military personnel and their families in Europe, Asia and Africa
who are among its members.

Carenet officials expect work on the additional 7,000 sf of
Brooks space will be completed in June.

Carenet’s current workforce totals about 800
personnel, and most of those workers are based out of the company’s 50,000-sf
headquarters campus on Woodstone.
