Ready, set, grow: Houston Methodist West expanding

HOUSTON – The Houston Methodist Hospital System broke ground on phase two of its Houston Methodist West medical campus expansion at Greenhouse Rd. and the I-10 frontage road.

The expansion includes a 228,000-sf, six-story hospital building that will have 95 beds, 22 emergency rooms, an expanded maternity unit, and expanded medical imaging services.

The project will also have a six-story parking garage that will offer free parking and hold more than 800 cars.

The new facility will deliver in second quarter 2018.
