WACO - Forever 21, which sells apparel geared towards teens and young adults, is leaving Richland Mall for Central Texas Marketplace.

The chain will open one of its new F21 Red stores that will offer merchandise at lower prices than typical Forever 21 locations.

The new store will be located near the retail center's entrance off Bagby Ave. in the 34,900-sf space where the former Sports Authority was located,

The company rolled out its new F21 Red concept in 2014 and is placing those stores in select markets around the country.

F21 Red focuses on selling fashion pieces with a styling that will keep them relevant for at least the duration of a season.

The men's section is expanded in F21 Red, and boys no longer will take a back seat to girls in the kids' section previously dominated by feminine apparel.

Other tenants of Central Texas Marketplace include Petco, Old Navy, Marshalls, Belk and Kohl's.
