Six active-adult communities planned across Houston
KATY – A Dallas-based real estate firm plans to develop six new active-adult communities across Houston in the coming years.
Stream Realty Partners LP is under contract for land in Cinco Ranch for a new active-adult community called Soléa Cinco Ranch.
The ten-acre site is located on Westheimer Pkwy., west of Cinco Ranch Blvd., in the Katy area.
The national commercial brokerage, investment and development firm plans to develop a three-story, garden-style apartment complex with 150 units catered for active adult residents ages 55 years or older.
Soléa Cinco Ranch will be similar to Stream Realty’s first active-adult project, Soléa Copperfield, which recently broke ground in Cypress.
The two Soléa-branded communities will have elevators, security cameras and a controlled gate access, as well as a large clubhouse with a resort-style pool, library and coffee bar.
The new Katy-area active-adult community is expected to break ground in October.
As Baby Boomers begin to retire en masse, Stream Realty plans to develop between 15 and 20 new active-adult communities across the Bayou City.
