Work to begin soon on $40 million Delaney senior living

​WACO – Life Care Services of Des Moines, Iowa, has begun clearing land for ​its $40 million senior living development called The Delaney at Lake Waco.

The four-story, 167-unit complex will be built on Fish Pond Rd. near Ridgewood Country Club. It will have 61 assisted-living residences and 34 memory-care units ranging from 400 to 680 sf. Residents will pay between $3,000 and almost $5,000 per month.

Construction is about to begin and should wrap up by August 2017.
