TEXAS – Newmark Grubb Knight Frank has released first quarter 2016 office market research reports for Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston, and we want to share it with you!
In 2015, the Dallas metro are led all major markets in office demand after recording 5.9 million sf of positive net absorption.
The Austin office market recognized its 14th consecutive quarter of positive net absorption in the first quarter of 2016, as its vacancy rate fell to 10.6 percent, significantly lower than that of Dallas or Houston.
2016 is positioned as a wait-and-see year for the Houston submarket, as available sublease space jumped to 9.0 million RSF.
