​VICTORIA - The Swearingen Report for residential homes has
been released for the 12 months ending February 2016 by Coldwell Banker The Ron
Brown Company. The average sales price for residential homes was $195,896, up
8.8 percent from February 2015 when it was $180,029. The median price of residential homes was $170,500, up 2.7
percent from February 2015 when it was $166,000. Total sales of residential homes in Victoria MLS for February
2016 was 866, 3.3 percent (30 homes) less than February 2015. The average Days on Market for residential homes for February
2016 was 96, 15.7 percent longer than the same period last year.
Total building permits for Victoria city limits
for February 2016 were 132, down 19.5 percent compared to February 2015 when
the number of permits was 164.
