AUSTIN - Transwestern has released its March 2016 Medical MarketWatch report. The number of practicing physicians for Travis County is 3,078; Williamson County’s number is 796 physicians according to the Merritt Hawkins Report April 2015.
There are 19 hospitals in Travis County and eight hospitals in Williamson County. The number of staffed beds are 2,945 in Travis County and 749 in Williamson County.
