El Paso: Pima Medical adding larger Career Training Campus in 40,000 SF

​EL PASO – Pima Medical Institute has purchased a 40,000-sf
building in order to expand its medical career course offerings.

The school will relocate from a smaller campus on Burnham
Rd. to the former Saddleblanket Co. building at 6926 Gateway Blvd. E in late
fall 2016 once renovations are complete.

​El Paso represents Pima Medical’s fourth renovation project
as a result of helping other colleges that were facing closures.

In addition to the current program offerings—occupational
therapy assistant, medical assistant and medical administrative assistant—more
programs will be added to the new location, including the following certificate programs:

• dental assistant
• pharmacy technician
• veterinary assistant
• central sterile processing
• phlebotomy technician

Pima Medical will also seek approval to offer
its associate degree programs in nursing, physical therapist assistant,
respiratory therapy, radiography and veterinary technician.
