HOUSTON – A 68,000-sf transitional care and assisted-living facility under construction at 9814 Grant Rd. is expected to be complete by November. The site is located across from Cypress Creek High School.

The Grant Road project will include a large therapy gym, outdoor rehabilitation courtyard, movie theater, beauty salon and spa as well as a pub and a kitchen with an on-site chef.
Transitional care provides rehabilitation and therapy services specifically for people who need short-term care, said Mike Klingl, senior development director for Mainstreet.
The Grant Road facility will include 94 beds, 70 for skilled nursing transitional care and 24 for assisted living.
The facility—which is unnamed at this point—is being developed by Indiana-based Mainstreet. It will be operated by the Houston branch of the Ensign Group.
