PLANO – Dallas-based Skybox Datacenters—a joint venture between Bandera Ventures and Rugen Street Capital—has started construction on Skybox Legacy, a multiphase, 21-acre data center campus in the Legacy area.

The initial phase of the campus is a 150,000-sf, 25-megawatt data center that will be delivered in October. It is at 6800 Communications Pkwy.

Skybox Datacenters will expand the campus up to 350,000 sf or 60 megawatts in one or more data center facilities. It will qualify for HB 1223, which can provide data center sales-and-use tax abatements.
