​​LONGVIEW - ​Trinity Tank Car notified Longview Mayor Andy Mack that it would lay off about 600 workers at two Longview plants on May 15., 2016.

The company said “the permanent mass layoff” would affect 236 workers at the facility at 708 Jordan Valley Rd. and its accompany building at 800 Fisher Rd.
The company also reported 381 employees would be laid off from the 140 Shady Brook Lane facility.
