DALLAS - Builder Wood Partners has started work at Turtle Creek and Market Center Blvd. on a 400-unit rental community called Alta Strand in Dallas’ Design District.

The four- and five-story buildings—expected to be ready later this year—are being constructed on the former site of a warehouse building that was demolished.

The apartment development, located at 1931 Market Center Blvd, will have access to the pedestrian trail system that links the Design District and the Trinity River.

Several new apartment projects are in the development pipeline for the Design District.
