ROCKWALL – Pegasus Foods, a major manufacturer of frozen foods for restaurant brands and supermarkets, will expand to Rockwall, becoming the latest California company to relocate to or grow in Texas.
Los Angeles-based Pegasus will build an 80,000-sf manufacturing facility.
The project is expected to create 325 jobs and a $10 million investment.
Construction will begin right away, according to CBSDFW.COM.
Pegasus Foods is one of many corporations moving employees to North Texas.
“Once again, a California company has decided there is no better place to grow and operate a business than the Lone Star State,” announced Texas Gov. Greg Abbott.
Toyota, Liberty Mutual, Kubota, JP Morgan Chase, State Farm, Farmer Brothers and Raytheon and dozens more have announced major moves or expansions in North Texas.
