​​DALLAS-FORT WORTH – Office and industrial rates in the DFW area stack up favorably when compared to our Texas brethren.​

Average DFW office rents are $21.90, which pale in comparison to Houston’s $28.67 and Austin’s sky-high $31.81. 
Only San Antonio office space is cheaper at $21.20 per sf annually.
The Metroplex’s average of $5.32 per sf for industrial space rests in the middle of the pack. Austin ($9.32) and San Antonio ($7.25) are more expensive, while Houston ($5.04), El Paso ($4.04) and McAllen ($4.02) are cheaper.
Figures listed in the interactive map above are gross triple-net per sf annually, according to fourth quarter 2015 CBRE and Colliers reports.
