ROUND ROCK - Baylor Scott & White has broken ground on a new 100,000-sf, four-story facility which will house its new cancer center.

The new facility will be located at the southwest side of Baylor Scott & White Medical Center at 300 University Blvd.

Baylor Scott & White Cancer Center—Round Rock will offer enhanced cancer diagnostic and treatment services, cancer screenings, diagnosis, treatment, and long-term monitoring in one location. The facility’s upper floors will also feature bone, joint and neurology services.

"The Round Rock Cancer Center will be unlike any other facility in the region because it will offer all cancer treatment options under one roof, employ a multi-disciplinary team of board-certified oncology specialists, and provide access to the entire Baylor Scott & White system," said Jay Fox, president of Baylor Scott & White—Austin-Round Rock region.
