FORT WORTH - H&M, the fast-expanding fashion retailer, plans to open a third Fort Worth location this fall at Hulen Mall.

That news comes less than a year after H&M opened its Ridgmar Mall store and unveiled plans for a high-profile Sundance Square outpost in the former Barnes & Noble spot downtown.

The Hulen Mall store will be about 22,000 sf and will include clothing for men and women, plus a separate in-store space for accessories. It will also carry H&M’s children’s collection for newborns.

H&M’s 31,000-sf space in Sundance Square, located next to the Cheesecake Factory, is expected to open April 14.

The Hulen H&M will open in the fall 2016.

With the Sundance Square and Hulen locations, H&M will increase its Texas footprint to 24 stores, and ten in the DFW area, including a Grapevine Mills outlet.

Known for affordable, “fast fashion” clothing styles, Sweden-based H&M opened its first U.S. store in New York 15 years ago, and has quickly expanded to more than 400 locations across the country.
