Kroger to anchor the Market at Springwoods Village

​​​​HOUSTON – Florida-based Regency Centers Corp. has formed a joint venture with CDC Houston Inc. to develop, own, and manage the first grocery-anchored development in Springwoods Village.

The Market at Springwoods Village will be at the intersection of Holzwarth Rd. and the Grand Pkwy. The first stage of development will be 170,000 sf and break ground this month. It will open in spring 2017. 

A 100,000-sf Kroger​​​ will anchor the project and ​will employ over 300. 

Regency could add a second phase in the future. When news of the plans first broke over a year ago, Regency had a 385,000-sf center in mind.
