IRVING – Fort Worth-based CEC Electrical Inc. has begun developing its new $9 million corporate headquarters, which will bring 450 employees to the North Texas city and give a place to expand its business.

CEC Electrical—which has worked on big projects like 7-Eleven’s new campus, the new Renaissance Hotel at Legacy West and Nebraska Furniture—is in the midst of developing a new two-story, 35,000-sf facility at 1275 Valley View Lane.
As part of relocation, CEC will move 450 employees into the new Irving facility that will give the firm room to grow and add additional workers.
CEC is currently working with the City of Irving on an economic incentive package for the in-market relocation.
Construction is slated for completion in September. CEC expects to move into the new facility in early October.
