​​DALLAS-FORT WORTH - North Texas donated $745 million dollars to charity in 2015—or an average of $338.27 per household, according to geographic information system company Esri.

Dallas-Fort Worth ranks eighth on the list of the nation’s 50 largest cities with a giving rate of 3.7 percent of income, according to the Chronicle of Philanthropy.

But some areas give more than others, these are the most charitable ZIP codes based on Esri’s charitable rank index. 

The amount represents the average annual contribution per household:

  • 76034: Colleyville, $1,250.79
  • 75225: Dallas, $1,195.04
  • 76092: Southlake, $1,118.97
  • 75205: Dallas, $1,035.26
  • 75022: Flower Mound, $476.32
  • 75093: Plano, $787.19
  • 75230: Dallas, $703.29
  • 75019: Coppell, $685.83
  • 75182: Sunnyvale, $669.18
  • 76226: Argyle, $666.03
