GRAND PRAIRIE – Berlin-based weekly recipe-kit delivery service HelloFresh Inc. has made its move in the southern United States, opening up a regional production and distribution hub.

In all, the newly constructed 138,000-sf facility at 1025 Post & Paddock, east of SH 360, will employ up to 400 full-time workers.
HelloFresh launched in the U.S. on the East Coast in December 2012, but the fast-growing company has quickly covered the country and become one of the larger players in the weekly fresh food subscription industry, prompting the company’s expansion into North Texas.
The weekly delivery service ships recipes and ingredients to customers in the U.S., Europe and Australia to make a complete dinner.
The venture capital-backed meal delivery company has signed a 15-year lease for the new Grand Prairie distribution hub.
