MONTGOMERY - Taylor Crozier, 11, made a hole-in-one in front of Tiger Woods on Wed., March 2, in the inaugural round of The Playgrounds at Bluejack National golf course in Montgomery.

"I just hit the ball," Taylor said after he got out of school at Luehrs Junior High School in Bishop near Corpus Christi.

He didn't just hit the ball. He made a hole-in-one before the eyes of a large crowd of spectators.

Also in the crowd was none other than 14-time major winner Tiger Woods, who would tee off after him.

The sixth-grader jumped for joy as the ball rolled in the hole and turned to put his club back in his bag when he bumped into easily the most famous professional golfer of all time.

"It was kind of surprising. All of a sudden, he just like grabbed me toward him," Taylor said about a hug that Woods gave him after his shot.

"Are you kidding me right now?" Woods said, laughing.

Taylor took part in a fundraiser for Texas Children's Hospital to enter a drawing to play the round with Woods on a course he designed.

At his new Bluejack National Golf Club design outside of Houston, Woods was on hand to open "The Playgrounds," a 10-hole par-3 layout for kids, families and casual fun.
