DALLAS-FORT WORTH – A locally-based chain of nurseries is blooming again and finding reasons to open new stores in the North Texas economy.

Fort Worth-based Calloway’s Nursery plans to open two stores in March.
“Business is great. We’ve had several good years in a row as more people move into the area,” said Dan Reynolds, Calloway’s chief financial officer. “We’re going to try to do a couple new stores a year.”
A store in Mansfield at 311 E. Debbie Lane opens on March 11. 
Later this month, Calloway’ will open a store at 3936 N. Tarrant Pkwy., in the fast-growing northern area of Fort Worth.
The new openings will bring the company’s number of stores back up to 19.
