VICTORIA – The Swearingen Report for residential homes has been
released for the 12 months ending January 2016 by Coldwell Banker The Ron Brown
Company.

The average sales price for residential homes was $195,138,
up 8.8 percent from January 2015 when it was $179,368.

The median price of residential homes was $172,000, up 4.2
percent from January 2015 when it was $165,000.

Total sales of residential homes in Victoria MLS for January
2016 was 865, 3.0 percent (27 homes) less than January 2015.

The average Days on Market for residential homes for January
2016 was 95, 13.1 percent longer than the same period last year.

Total building permits for Victoria city limits
for January 2016 were 129, down 22.8 percent compared to January 2015 when the
number of permits was 167.
