WACO - A range of developments are taking shape in the Central Texas city.
Tuscany Ranch Apartments, a $25 million luxury development, has started construction at 2100 S. New Rd. near I-35. The complex will include 284 units over 11 acres.
Healthcare Resort of Waco is nearing completion at Legends Crossing, the mixed-use development at SH 6 and I-35, adjacent to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Medical Center.
The 75,000-sf facility will feature 30 assisted-living apartments on the ground floor and 86 skilled-nursing units.
Monthly rates range from $3,700 to $4,600, according to management of the $17 million facility.
At the rear of Legends Crossing work continues on The Legend Apartment Homes.
The complex will feature 180 units spread over eight buildings
Units range in size from 635 to 1,270 sf, and monthly lease rates will stretch from $980 to $1,495.
Closer to Baylor University, site work has begun on a five-story, $40 million student housing complex at S. 12th St. and Speight Ave., where a vacant H-E-B building was demolished.
The project will accommodate 702 people and have a multistory parking garage.
