HOUSTON - Construction crews broke ground on Redemption Square, the 52-acre mixed-use corporate lifestyle district of Generation Park.

Redemption Square will feature Class A offices, hotels, restaurants, shops and practical services, and boast incredible pedestrian friendliness. It promises to be a thriving urban work community by day and a suburban family neighborhood by evening.

Crews are also about to start construction on Redemption Square One, a five-story, 85,000-sf mixed-use building that will share Square frontage with an internationally known hotel and a corporate office HQ.

At West Lake, a water wall is flowing and the three-quarter mile walking path is being used. Landscaping will soon be installed.

McCord Development is also nearing completion of the Lockwood Rd. expansion project, which will serve the businesses of Generation Park as well as the surrounding community. Lockwood Rd. was formerly a two-land country road., but will be a grand four-lane divided boulevard when completed this summer.
