Good chemistry between BASF, Energy Plaza
HOUSTON – New Jersey-based chemical company BASF Corp. has signed a lease for 110,000 sf of office space in Energy Tower IV.
The 429,157-sf, 17-story office tower was constructed at 11750 Katy Fwy. last year. It is the fourth and final office building in the two million-sf Energy Plaza project.
BASF is currently building out its space with plans to move in by the second quarter, at which point the company will consolidate business operations from several sites in the area.
The lease brings Energy Tower IV occupancy to 61 percent. Other tenants in the LEED Gold building include Technip and Spectrum Geo.
Mac Haik Realty represented the landlord, while Partners Realty, in collaboration with the Calibre Group, represented BASF.
