DALLAS-FORT WORTH – Fourth quarter 2015 marks the 21st consecutive quarter of positive net absorption for the DFW industrial market as it posted 5.3 million sf in total market absorption.

With the three previous quarters’ impressive combined 12.7 million sf of absorption, the year-to-date total reached just under 18 million sf, eclipsing 2014 absorption.
Deliveries for the quarter totaled 2.7 million sf, bringing year-to-date deliveries to 19.6 million sf, easily the highest amount delivered to market since the economic downturn.
An estimated 19.7 million sf is currently under construction in the market and the vacancy rate continued to compress.
