​HOUSTON - Newmark Grubb Knight Frank is combining its Houston office with ARA Newmark to create a new regional headquarters at 2 Blvd Place, located at 1700 Post Oak Blvd.

The commercial real estate advisory firm will occupy 38,582 sf in the space that will accommodate 100 employees with room for growth.

With NGKF's lease, Blvd Place is now 98 percent leased.

Blvd Place 1 & 2 is a 284,000-sf mixed-use development with 160,000 sf of retail — including Whole Foods Market, which houses the first brewery in a grocery store in the U.S., and 124,000 sf of office space, which includes the 55,000-sf regional headquarters for Frost Bank.

​Hanover Co. developed a 30-story luxury residential tower in the mixed-use project. The tower has achieved over 90 percent occupancy.
