PASADENA - A plastics company has preleased close to 400,000 sf at a project under development near the Port of Houston.
Calif.-based Plastic Express agreed to lease 394,489 sf in Phase II of Port 225 in Pasadena. Phase II should be complete in the second quarter and is now 65 percent preleased.
Once Phase II is completed, Port 225 will consist of six distribution buildings totaling almost 1.5 million sf.
Phase I at Port 225 was completed in 2008 and is 100 percent leased.
Last year, Modern Polymer Inc. also leased 300,000 sf at Port 225. It was one of the largest industrial leases of 2015.
