HOUSTON - The second phase of Remington Square, a 200,552-sf Class A office development in northeast Houston, has delivered.

Kirksey Architects designed the project, and the Houston office of Hoar Construction was the general contractor.

The development, at 10730 W. Sam Houston Parkway N., is owned by Sun Life Financial and is being leased by Stream Realty Partners LP.

Phase I of the development, which stands at 197,000 sf and delivered in 2009, is 97 percent leased. It houses the headquarters for Flotek Industries Inc., energy firm Archer Well Company Inc. and Mitel Communications.

Several office developments are poised to deliver in 2016 with few to no tenants.

Major office developments scheduled years ago, before oil markets hit record lows, are still being built despite office activity significantly slowing down in 2015.

Throughout the greater Houston area, there are ten major office buildings set to deliver in Houston this year and two next year. Several of these projects haven't signed any tenants yet, and experts are saying that it's a tenant's market, meaning landlords and leasing agents may have to offer more in concessions this year.
