​​SAN ANTONIO – Frontier Airlines is making a return trip to
San Antonio. The Denver-based carrier plans to launch new service in the Alamo
City in May 2016.

Frontier will offer travelers nonstop flights to Atlanta,
Denver, Las Vegas and Philadelphia.

San Antonio Mayor Ivy Taylor said the increased service will
provide greater connectivity with four key destinations and will reinforce the
Alamo City’s ability to “attract new businesses and tourism.”

Frontier Airlines Vice President Debbie Price said the
carrier will gain 18 new aircraft this year.

Frontier announced that it will be providing service to 42 new markets.​ 

The airline is now growing its footprint by another 14 markets.

service from San Antonio:

  • San Antonio to Atlanta (May 13, 2016)
  • San Antonio to Denver (May 13, 2016)
  • San Antonio to Las Vegas (May 15, 2016)
  • San Antonio to Philadelphia (May 13, 2016)
