SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio home market continued its
upward swing with 24,948 homes sold between January and November 2015,
according to year-end data released by the San Antonio Board of Realtors.

The total is a 9.8 percent increase from 2014’s total of
22,718.

The sales activity continues to be focused in the thriving
sectors of the Far West and Northwest sides, and along the I-10 and US 281
corridors.

A seller’s market dominated 2015 — a high demand for housing
coupled with a low inventory.

This caused prices to rise and the median price
of home sales climbed to $192,000 from January to November, a 6.8 percent
increase from the same period in 2014.
