Dunhill planning 200-room Dallas Virgin Hotel

​DALLAS – Architects who are designing the new Virgin Hotel for Dallas’ Design District are giving a first look at the building.

The 200-room hotel is scheduled to open on Hi Line Dr. at Turtle Creek Blvd. in early 2018.​

The hotel will replace a 25,000-sf brick showroom and warehouse building on the property.

Construction is set to start on the project this spring.

Dunhill Partners in 2014 bought 33 acres and about 700,000 sf of buildings in the Design District.

Dunhill is also working on plans for a Design District office tower on Stemmons Fwy. at Edison St., just across the Hwy. from Victory Park.
