FRISCO – Green Brick Partners Inc. announced plans for a $170 million, 350-home community in Frisco.

Green Brick acquired 96 acres on Eldorado Parkway between the Dallas North Tollway and Preston Rd. for a residential development called Frisco Springs.

The development will include townhomes and traditional single-family homes.

Jed Dolson, Green Brick’s head of acquisitions, said in a statement the first phase of residential development would begin in early summer, with model homes opening in spring 2017.

“Frisco Springs will be one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Frisco and only minutes from the $5 Billion Mile,” Dolson said.

The homes will be designed around 20 acres of open space with walking trails. Homeowners will have access to a $1.5 million amenity center, complete with a pool, workout room and entertainment areas.

The single-family home sites will be up to a quarter acre and are planned for sale to third-party builders.
